:( [26 Dec 2009|01:28pm] ontd_football [forever_jolie] [ mood | shocked ]  Car crash injures River’s Buonanotte, kills 3     BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP)—River Plate midfielder Diego Buonanotte has been hospitalized with broken bones and other serious injuries and his three passengers were killed Saturday after he lost control of his car in the rain and slammed into a tree.   Eduardo Allegrini, director of the San Martin Clinic in Venado Tuerto where the footballer was hospitalized, said that Buonanotte suffered a broken collar bone and also a broken right arm as well as bruises on his chest.   Allegrini told the state news agency Telam that Buonanotte is “out of danger” but would remain hospitalized and under observation.   The 21-year-old footballer, reportedly a transfer target of English Premier League side Sunderland, was driving his Peugeot 607 on a rural highway with three other young men when the car crashed into a tree at 6:45 a.m., according to Telam.   Local police identified the three dead men as Gerardo Sune, Alexis Fulcheri and Emanuel Melo, according to Telam.   Firefighter Maximo Fernandez said Buonanotte had gotten out of the wrecked car and was conscious when rescue personnel arrived. The car hit the tree on the passenger side, trapping his passengers inside.
